  8.                 PC-KILL is a stand alone program that will 
  9. "DELETE" a Directory and/or a Sub Directory and all of their 
  10. associated files with ONE command.  The program is smart enough 
  11. to figure out how many drives are on your system (including 
  12. The NETWORK) and will present you with all of the choices.  
  13. Select the desired drive that contains the Directories/Files that 
  14. you want to KILL (Delete) and the program will present you with 
  15. text graphic of the tree.  Pick the directory (Any Level but the 
  16. top level) and you will be asked ARE YOU SURE ?.  Key in a "Y" or 
  17. "N" and the appropriate action will be carried out.  ALL 
  18. DIRECTORIES AND FILES WILL BE DELETED so BE CAREFUL !!!.  Use 
  19. "F1" for Help and ESC for Quitting.

  21.                 Please feel free to distribute PCKILL in it's 
  22. unaltered state to anyone whom you choose.  A one time licensing 
  23. fee of $15.00 is required for regular use of this product.  In 
  24. other words, this program is distributed under the traditional 
  25. SHAREWARE concept.  Try the program and see if you like it.  If 
  26. you don't like it then delete it and forget about it.  If you 
  27. like it and want to continue to use same, please adhere to the 
  28. shareware concept and send us your licensing fee.

  31. may have with regards to improving this product.  Feel free to 
  32. make suggestions, complaints, comments, etc.

  34.                 Every precaution has been taken to insure the 
  35. proper performance of this program.  We have eliminated the 
  36. possibility of a user keying in C:\ for a path name which would 
  37. in turn wipe put your entire disk very nicely.  Used properly, 
  38. there should not be any problems with this program, however, we 
  39. can not accept any legal responsibility for damages to your 
  40. system.  You must assume all responsibility for damage.  If these 
  41. conditions are not acceptable to you then please dispose of this 
  42. program and accept our thanks for looking at it.

  44.                     MISCELLANEOUS INSTRUCTIONS
  45.  
  46. 1. The Directory and File deletions can be recovered via a 
  47.    Utility program  that will "UNDELETE" files.  The deletion 
  48.    process actually changes the first character of the name to a 
  49.    "?".  These utility programs have the capability of retrieving 
  50.    these files and allowing you to change the name back to it's 
  51.    original state thereby recovering the file or directory.  This 
  52.    process must take place immediately after the error for it to 
  53.    work properly.
  54. 2. Use the ESC Key to exit Screens.
  55. 3. Use the F1 Key for HELP if the Screen indicates to do so.
  56. 4. At time of release of REV 1.0 a small bug in the MOUSE 
  57.    routines was found.  It will be fixed in a later release.  
  58.    Should you run across it, use the ARROW Keys to walk the tree.
